Michael Robert King

It is with sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Michael Robert King, at home, on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Predeceased by his parents, Earl and Dolores King.

Michael will be lovingly remembered by his children, Connor and Scout; his sister, Nancy, and brother, Peter, and their families. He also leaves behind his life-long friends, Steve and Jill Nimmo, for whom the family would especially like to thank for their unwavering loyalty and kindness to Michael and his children over the years. They helped Michael navigate many difficulties in life, and continue to provide much positive warmth and compassion to Connor.

Michael was known for his quick wit and humour, his life-long friends, skiing, and his love of antiques. He will be remembered by many for his career with Canada Post, as well as his passion for acting.

A private Celebration of Michael's Life will take place at a later date for close friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Serenity House in memory of Michael are appreciated by the family.
