It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mazie Thompson on February 10, 2022, at the age of 84, after a short battle with breast cancer. Mazie leaves behind her partner of many years John Kuiper as well as many friends and family. Mazie was a happy person who enjoyed various jobs at the Civic Campus of the Ottawa Hospital. She had a degree in psychology and had a passion for music.
Visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes (3440 Richmond Road, Ottawa) on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 12-2PM, followed by a memorial service. In order to attend the visitation and memorial service pre-registration is mandatory at by calling (613) 722-6559. Proof of vaccination and photo ID are also required for the visitation and memorial service.
