Mary Savignac

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Savignac, who left us surrounded by family on August 27, 2025, at the age of 90.

Predeceased by parents John E. and Lottie P. Hobbs, survived by her brother David (Andrea) Hobbs.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late David Savignac, and a devoted mother to the late Gordon Savignac - whom she missed dearly, Fran Spratt (Peter Lapointe) and Nancy (Darren) Ellis.

She was a cherished grandmother to Sabrina (Dan), Emily (Andrew), Taylor and Thomas; a proud great-grandmother to Haven, Starlynn and Alice who brought her endless joy in her later years.

Mary will be fondly remembered by her extended family — her nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Her warmth, strength, and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

The family wishes to thank everyone at Osgoode Care Centre for their compassion and support during her final days. A private service will be held at Rideauvale Cemetery.
