May 1st, 1943 - June 20, 2025

With great sadness, we announce that Mary passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025 at the age of 82. Loving wife of the late Bill Murphy. Proud Mom of Cathy (Mark), Kevin (Carla), and Kimberley. Cherished Grandma of Kyle, Ryan, and Michael. Predeceased by her parents, Howard and Mabel (Carson) and her brother Rodney. Sister to Ray (Myrna), Eleanor (Bob) and sister-in-law to Marion. Fondly remembered by her nephews, niece, cousins, and many friends/neighbours.

Mary worked for Atomic Energy/Theratronics for many years and was known for her pies and tarts which she baked for charity events. After retirement, she enjoyed going to the Senators games, gardening, Kensington, reading, cooking, family Christmas gatherings, puzzles, playing cards, and cheering for the Jays.

Special thanks for Dr. Connell, Dr. Mestre, and her caregivers Bess, Keren, Cloe, and Suze.

Visitation will take place Thursday, June 26th at 10 am at St. Isidore's Catholic Church (1135 March Road, Kanata) followed by the funeral mass at 11am (reception at the church hall to follow). In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's name may be made to Parkinson Canada or a charity of your choice.
