It is with deep love and sadness that the family of Mary Lee Dunlap announces her passing on December 7, 2025, at the age of 93.
Mary Lee was born in Montreal on December 13, 1931, to her cherished parents James Dunlap and Irene Valiquette, both now deceased. The eldest of three children, Mary Lee was predeceased by her brother Jimmy (Lucette) and is lovingly remembered by her sister Cheryl (Richard).
Mary Lee spent her long and dedicated career with Bell Canada, proudly serving as a Bell Canada Pioneer, with her years of service fully bridged—an accomplishment she carried with honor.
She married James Dolan, and together they adopted two beloved children in Montreal.
Mary Lee leaves behind her son Paul (Alanna) and their daughters Cassondra Dolan and Jade Dolan; and her daughter Ann (Lloyd) and their children Sarah Grummett and Ben Grummett.
Mary Lee was blessed to see her family grow through the marriage of her grandson Ben to Samantha, and she welcomed with joy the arrival of her great-granddaughter Amelia, who brought her immense pride and delight.
In her spare time, Mary Lee found great happiness in crafting beautiful quilts—handmade treasures that reflected her creativity, patience, and generous spirit. Her quilts, like her legacy, were stitched with love and will be cherished for generations.
Mary Lee will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family. She touched the lives of all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
