Passed away peacefully early Monday morning, August 24, 2015 at the age of 96 in the compassionate and respectful care of La Maison Mathieu Fromant-Savoie, in Gatineau, QC. Survived by her daughter Elaine Maynard (nee Edey), daughter-in-law Joan Edey (nee Hepditch), brother Lloyd Hyde, cherished grandchildren Laurie (Andre), Lisa (Jeremy), Christopher (Katherine), Bradley and Stephen (Jessica), and 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her loving husband Elwood Edey, son Douglas Edey, sister Vi Jamison and brother Colin Hyde. She also leaves behind 8 nieces and nephews.
A heartfelt thank you to the kind, empathetic and supportive staff at La Maison Mathieu Fromant-Savoie. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to La Maison Mathieu Froment-Savoie or the Aylmer United Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to
