Marion Veronica Ghadiali (née McNab)

Marion Veronica Ghadiali, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, in Kanata, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 96.

Born on April 5, 1929, in Methil, Scotland, Marion lived a full and vibrant life defined by creativity, compassion, and deep devotion to her family. She was a gifted artist, a passionate gardener, and a loving mother who instilled in her children the values of kindness, resilience, and curiosity.

She was predeceased by her cherished husband, Baji Ghadiali, and her granddaughter, Kelly Graham. Marion’s legacy lives on in the hearts of her children — Linda Graham, Sandra Zakaluzny, Brenda Ghadiali, and Steven Ghadiali (wife Jen Ghadiali)— and her beloved grandchildren: Neil Graham, Kelsey Mahoney, Cory Mahoney, Maya Ghadiali, Dylan Ghadiali, and Jack Ghadiali.

Marion will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her sharp wit, and the warmth she brought to every life she touched. Her artistic talents and love of nature were reflected in the beautiful works she created and the gardens she nurtured. Above all, she will be remembered for the love she gave — freely, fiercely, and forever.

A private family gathering will be held in her honour. In lieu of flowers, please consider planting something beautiful in her memory, or consider donating in Marion’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society, a cause close to our hearts.

Marion will be laid to rest at: Cimetière des Trembles 15005, rue Sherbrooke Est Montréal, QC. H1A 3X1
