Marian Irene Carroll

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marian Irene Carroll (nee Roy) at the age of 83 on September 29th, 2023 at the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice. Marian was born in Ottawa on June 24,  1940 to the late Albert Roy of Ottawa and the late Irene Orrey of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Marian was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years Maurice Jean-Claude Carroll on July 21, 2022. Dearly loved mom to Roy(Jasia Krzesniak), Darlene, Shirley(Rod Emery), Kimberley Welcher(Marc), Judy Stone(the late Patrick) and David(Lynn Sauve). Much loved grandma to Eva and Jamie Aitken(Alexia Minoli), Shawn and Ashley Bigras, Adam Welcher(Gabrielle Castonguay) and Jen Welcher( Darragh Hamilton), Samantha Carroll, Gary, Lincoln, Melanie and the late Chelsea Stone, Zoe Carroll, Celeste and Cedrick Carroll. Special great grandma Marian to Mika Minoli, Ruby, Anthony and Élyse Welcher and Liam Bigras.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean ( between Bayshore and Baseline Rd.) on Wednesday October 4, 2023 from 11:00am-12:00 pm. The memorial service will be in the Chapel at 12:00pm with a reception to follow.
