Margot Elizabeth Haydon

April 10, 1937 — November 14, 2025

Margot Elizabeth Haydon, at age 88, died peacefully with her children by her side and surrounded by love on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Medex LTC in Ottawa, Ontario.

She was predeceased by her parents Earl and Mary Bradley, her husband Peter, her brother-in-law Andrew, her sister-in-law Mary, her nephew Andrew, and her dear friend Earl.

She is survived by her darling children John (Micheline), Sandra (Carla), and Vicki; her so-loved grandchildren, Peter, Natalie, Wilson, and Daniel; her beloved sisters Bev Parent (Chuck) and Pat McKeown; the best nieces and nephews; and her dear friend Roxy.

Margot worked in Student Accounts at Carleton University for 20 years and retired in 1995.

In keeping with her generous spirit, Margot donated her body for the advancement of medical education and research to the University of Ottawa’s body bequeathal program.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the entire care team and the residents of the Medex community.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am, followed by a reception at noon on Friday, November 21 at the Tubman Funeral Home, 3440 Richmond Road, Ottawa, Ontario.
