Margaret Theresa Burnett

Died peacefully at Carlingview Manor in Ottawa on Sunday, September 7, 2025. Peggy is formally of Bedford, Nova Scotia.

She is pre-deceased by her husband of 63 years, Erwin, and her son Gregory. She is survived by her daughters Deborah Burnett of Ottawa and Pam Mcnamara (Shane) of Belnan, Nova Scotia and her daughter-in-law Catherine of Barrie, Ontario. She is also survived by her grandchildren Zac and Nick Blanchet of Ottawa, Heather Hedderly (Kris) of Newmarket Ontario, Victoria o’Burnaven (Jill) of London Ontario and Evan and Ryan Mcnamara of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and great grandchildren, Sophia, and Hunter Hedderly.

Peggy will be remembered by the many brides of Halifax, whose gowns she created for their special day, and her family will remember the amazing family get-togethers she hosted.

Peggy will be buried in her beloved Bedford at a undetermined future date. There will be no service in Ottawa. Special thanks to the amazing staff at Carling view Manor, who have taken such good care of her over the past couple of years.
