Lyle Carman Ireland

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lyle, four days short of his 91st birthday. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Iona (nee Murray), his son Hal (Armand) and sister Joan.

He is predeceased by his son Miles; parents Carman and Myrtle (nee Woolsey); sisters Hazel (Harold), Opal, Norma (Leonard), Geraldine (Lew); and brothers Keith, Hilton (Dawn), Arnold (Beverly), and Ronald (Jean).

From a humble start in North Onslow QC, he went on to work for Canadian National Railways for 32 years. He will be remembered for being a hardworking man, proud of his home, the shine on his cars, and enjoying summer at Green Lake. He especially cherished time spent tinkering with his boat and those fun, yet serious, card games with his family and friends.
