Peacefully, on January 20, 2022, Lorraine Scrim passed away at the age of 102. Lorraine was born in Ottawa on April 10, 1919. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Elizabeth Smith, her beloved husband Earl and her grandson, Cameron. She is survived by her four sons, Wayne (Patricia), Byron (Janet), Keith (Jocelyn), Kevin (Margot), her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Lorraine was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was a devout Catholic all her life. A rosary was always nearby. She was a great knitter creating garments that are treasured in her family. Lorraine loved to don a costume for any occasion and participated in many activities, also playing the piano at her residence before she became ill. Lorraine was photographed many times wearing a crown, one of her favorite things to do. The family would like to thank Garden Terrace for their care and compassion. Lorraine was well loved and will be missed by her family. A celebration of her life will take place at a  later date.
