Lois Belisle

Passed away peacefully, in hospital, on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at the age of 74.  Daughter of the late Frederick Belisle and Corrine Belisle (nee Seguin). Predeceased by her husband Alexander MacKenzie; Survived by her partner Joseph Paquette.  Loving mother of Sandy MacKenzie (Angie Moore), Archie MacKenzie (Kim) and Lois Paquette (Ben Wade).  Proud grandmother of Alec MacKenzie (Brittany), Clyde MacKenzie, Grace MacKenzie (their mother Brigitte), Allison MacKenzie, Margaret MacKenzie, June Foreman (her father Robert Foreman), Lainey Wade and her step grandchildren.  Proud great grandmother of Isla and Jackie MacKenzie and Bryson Cavanagh; greatly missed by the entire Cavanagh family.  Cherished sister of Patricia Handy (the late Loyed), the late Eddie (Judy), the late Irene, Joan, the late Arnell and Charlene (Rick White).  Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Visitation will be held at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Rd, Ottawa (at Roosevelt) on Tuesday August 2 from 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will be held in the chapel the following day at 11 a.m.  Burial will take place at Highland Park Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Centre.
