Lindsay Parker Harrington

It is with profound sadness that the family of Lindsay announce her sudden passing on January 24th, 2026 while on vacation in the Dominican Republic. The tragic and unexpected passing has compounded the grief for family, friends and everyone whose lives she touched.

She was truly a special person. Her graduation from Fenelon Falls Secondary School (top of class, valedictorian) was followed by an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration with distinction from the Ivey Business School at Western, certification as a Chartered Account while working at Deloitte, then subsequent positions at Diabetes Canada, the Canadian Olympic Committee and finally as Director of Finance at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation.

She will be deeply and irreparably missed by her family and friends. Cherished wife of Tyler and sweet loving mother to Eleanor, soon to be 6, and Claire, just 3 years old. Survived by her parents Wendy (Roger), Bruce (Michele) her sisters Sarah (Chris), Allison (Mark) and brother Scott (Aleks), nieces and nephews Grae, Hannah, Ian, Drew, Jamie, Evelyn, Ethan, Logan and Owen. Sadly her passing also had a profound impact on Dave and Wendy Harrington, who gladly treated her as their own, as did Ryan (Stacy), Ben and Maxine who were happy to call her a member of the family.

All who had the pleasure of knowing Lindsay loved her and will deeply miss her presence in their lives. Her memory will be cherished forever in our hearts.

Her family truly appreciate the love and support provided by everyone she touched. In lieu of flowers contributions in Lindsay's name can be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean on Sunday, February 22nd, 2026, at 3:00 pm. Reception to follow.
