Lidwina Levesque

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lidwina Levesque at the age of 95, surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, November 30th, 2025, and will be dearly missed by the many souls she has touched in her life.

Lidwina 'Maman' was the loving mother of five children, Gisèle (Tom), the late Murielle, Gordon (Lori), Aline (André), and Janine (Chris) and son-in-law Bob. Loving grandmother 'nanny' of Shawn (Julia), Michelle (Ryan), Ariel, Joey, Xavier (Esther) and Mira and great-grandmother of Makenna, Nibi and Bemi.

Lidwina leaves behind her sisters Marie-Ange, Bernadette and Alvina. Pre-deceased by her brothers Marcel, George, Gérard-Guy, and Arthur. Lidwina also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Lidwina will be missed by her many friends who often referred to her as ‘Maman.' We will all miss her laugh, great life advice, and her joie de vivre.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean on Wednesday, December 10 from 2-4 p.m. A memorial service will be held at St. Stephens Anglican Church, 930 Watson Street, Ottawa on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 11 am.
