Lesley Swain

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Lesley at the age of 59. She will be dearly missed by her siblings Sandra (David) and Dale (Rebecca) and by her cherished nephews William and Gregory.

A member of the Ontario College of Teachers, Lesley was a dedicated early childhood educator and kindergarten teacher for 30 years, a career both challenging and rewarding. She worked hard helping her students succeed and took enormous pride in their achievements.

In keeping with Lesley’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road, Ottawa (at Richmond and Roosevelt) on Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.  Words of remembrance will begin at 2 p.m.

If friends desire, a donation can be made to the Ottawa Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.

Lesley left us way too soon. She will be missed.
