Lawrence Joseph Lalonde

Lawrence Joseph Lalonde (Larry) passed away in Hospital on December 25, 2025 at the age of 72.

Larry was born on May 28, 1953 in Sudbury, Ontario.

He retired in 2002 from the City of Ottawa, Engineering.

Larry was a true Outdoorsman at heart with a deep passion for hunting, fishing and his precious antique cars. Larry was always thrilled to see wildlife while out driving. He was known for his stories and unmistakable sense of humour, laughing long after the story ended.

He leaves behind his loving wife Deborah Lalonde (Debbie Ingraham), his brothers in law and sister in law, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, His life long friends, Terry, Brian M, John A. and very close cousins Brian, Barry, Chris, Trevor, and Leroy, along with many family and countless friends whose lives he touched. Larry was predeceased by his parents Andrew (1958) and Eileen (l997) Lalonde (Nee Hand).

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) on Wednesday, June 10, from 6 - 8 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 11, at Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) at a time to be determined. Reception to follow. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery at a date and time to be confirmed. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute, Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters or the Cancer Society.
