Kelly Therien

Kelly Gilmour Therien born on April 25th, 1973, passed away peacefully at the age of 51, at home on November 19th, 2024, with family and her beloved dog, Clover by her side. Predeceased by her father David Gilmour, beloved uncle Ed Wolkowycki (Monica), and dear friend Sabrina Saarinen Burri. Survived by her loving daughters Emelina and Analisa Therien. Lovingly remembered by her mother Donata Blackburn and stepfather Paul Korzeniowski; brothers Adam and Michael Gilmour; sister-in-law Mandy Gilmour; uncle Stan Wolkowycki; aunt Elizabeth Wolkowycki; nieces and nephews Hannah, Riley, Aidan, and Mackenzie Gilmour; and cousins Stephanie Smeaton and Ben Wolkowycki.

Kelly Gilmour touched many lives as an early childhood educator and thrived when surrounded by her friends, family, and all of her “kiddos”. Her warmth and positivity spread far beyond her circle of close friends and family as wherever she went, she would run into an old high-school friend or kid she helped prepare for grade school. She was an avid music lover, attending any and every concert she could including her favorites George Michael and her beloved Goo Goo Dolls. Kelly was not only an amazing mother to her two daughters, but an extremely loving and supporting mother-figure to anyone who needed her love.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean on Saturday November 30th, 2024, promptly at 11 o’clock with a reception afterwards.
