KEIKO NISHIMURA

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the age of 88 with her children at her side.

Keiko has been reunited with her late husband, Takashi, after 19 years of diligently maintaining their cherished house in Kanata. She will be deeply missed by her children, Steven (Melanie), Sandra (Anthony), and particularly Donna who shared so much time with her during the last 19 years. She was the proud and loving grandmother of Jordan, Ryan and Justin.

Keiko will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her two surviving brothers, Yoshiharu (Fukue) Otsuka and Katsuharu (Ieko) Otsuka, in Japan, as well as all her nephews, nieces and cousins. She will also be missed by her close circle friends.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the ICU and neurology teams at the Ottawa Civic Hospital who took special and gentle care of Keiko in her last days. A visitation will be held this Friday, September 5th, between 2 and 4 pm at Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Ottawa. A separate celebration of life will be held in Toronto.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Civic Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
