Peacefully in hospital on Thursday, June 22, 2017 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Olga Bilyj (née Snaychuk) and father of Leona and Karl. Predeceased by his siblings Nick, Mollie, Metro, Paul, Kay, Jean, Tina, Lena, Anne, Walter, Steven, Peter; and his parents George and Mary. The family would like to thank the staff of the Queensway Carleton Hospital for their compassion and attentiveness. Friends may attend a visitation at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars on Wednesday from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Memorial service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute.
