Joyce Eugenia Pereira

Peacefully at the age of 83 Joyce passed away on April 27, 2024. Beloved wife of 55 years to Vincent Pereira. Proud and amazing mother to her daughter Joanne and Niklas Ekstrom. Sweetest and most loved Gran to Eden and Urban. Dearest sister to Phyllis (Peter), Hazel (Rudy), Norma and Warren. She was a cherished aunt, sister-in-law, cousin and friend.

Those who were privileged to have her in their lives, knew her never ending warmth and selflessness, her kindness and generosity.
 
Joyce was creative and skilled in flower arrangement and cheesecake making. She always had a wonderful way of making everyone feel welcome.
 
Visitation with the family will be held at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road, Ottawa (at Roosevelt) on Friday, May 10th, 2024, from 6-8 p.m.
 
A celebration of Joyce's beautiful life will be held at the Queen of Most Holy Rosary, 20 Grant Street, Ottawa on Saturday, May 11th, 2024, at 11 a.m.
