Peacefully but unexpectedly at her home Thursday, Oct 28, 2021. Much loved wife of Don for 60 years. Loving mother to Steve (Lesley) of Calgary,  Donna  Brule (Joe) of Almonte, Rick (Denise) of Ottawa.

Proud and cherished Grama of Robyn (Tim), Chelsea, Joy Johanna (Billy), Don Leo (Jamie), Chris, Kaleigh (Jake), and Bridget.  Great-Grama of Brody, Connor, Chloe, and Nora.

Dear sister-in-law to Marilyn (nee Atchison) Thompson (Gord) and Clark (Charlotte) Atchison.  She will also be missed by Bev Atchison and will be reunited with Sister Patti Ellis.

An avid member and former President of the Ladies division of the Hylands Golf Club, bilingual co-chair of the 'Scotties, former member of the Ottawa Hunt Club and City View Curling Clubs.   She travelled the world in search of curling fame and fortune (or maybe just a few laughs and a good meal).  She was an accomplished businesswoman launching and sucessfully operating several businesses including Aqua Fit, Pager, Courier and Sports Corral.

She will be greatly missed by her many friends in Ottawa and her loving family. A ceremony of life will be held in the summer of 2022, details will be announced later.
