John Sipos

János Károly Sipos - John Charles Sipos

Passed away at the Civic Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the age of 97. János was born in Mojács, Hungary and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by his loving wife Lily Elsie (Guscott) in 2001, his mother Anna Hirmann, his father Lajos Sipos and his brother Dr. Louis (Lajos) Sipos. He is survived by his daughter Anna Katherine Sipos (Doug Jacques), his son John (Melissa Sanford), grandchildren Susan and Samuel (Jennifer Turnbull) and great-grandchildren Cooper and Addison.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Tubman Funeral Home. A private graveside service will take place in Brockville at a later date.

He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
