John Theodore "Jack" Scobie

Peacefully in hospital surrounded by his family on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Helen (Clarke). Dear father of Cathy Holmes (Roger), Ken (Lorraine) and Jeff (Amy). Loving grandfather of Matthew, Thomas, Dora, Beckie, Cassandra, Warren, Chelsea and Kathryn. Also survived by 12 greatgrandchildren. Brother of Barbara Bracken (Bruce). Predeceased by his son Clarke (Kathy); brother Arthur (Georgina) and sister Patricia Williams.

Friends may attend a visitation at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars on Friday, August 23rd from 1 to 4 pm. Memorial service will be held at Osgoode-Kars United Church, 6656 Rideau Valley Dr S. Saturday, August 24th at 1 pm, followed by a reception.  A masonic service will be held on Friday at 12:45 pm.

Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
