Peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital in the company of family. Former partner to Lydia Sharman, Molly Fuller, and Jane Brierley. Also survived by children Brian (Gena), Jonathan (Anna), Gillian (Erik) and Justin (Laura) as well as grandchildren Julia, Sarah, Rowan, Elijah, Oliver, Lincoln, and Levi. Propelled by a love of the physical life, athletics and the outdoors featured prominently from his youth to his final years. He remained characteristically optimistic and determined throughout recent medical challenges. A memorial service will be held 11:30 AM on January 14th at St Matthias, 10 Church Hill, Westmount. In lieu of flowers or in memoriam please direct donations to the St Patricks Home of Ottawa Foundation or the Ottawa Hospital Foundation. Funeral Arrangements in care of Tubman Funeral Homes.
