Johanna Wilson

Johanna (Nunny) Wilson of Ottawa, ON, passed away April 11, 2023 at the age of 73.

Johanna was predeceased by her parents, Jan and Ali. She is survived by her three siblings, Jan, Bea and Piet of the Netherlands; her son, Philip (Cara) and her two grandchildren, Zoe and Alivia.

Johanna was born in Zeist, Netherlands in 1949 and moved to Ottawa, Canada at the age of 23 (1972) with her cousin. She carried a strong love for tulips, cycling, modern art and black licorice, remaining true to her Dutch culture. She was a devoted mother and loving Oma, always smiling at the children, and laughing during family functions.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Tubman Funeral Homes Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Road, Ottawa, ON.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
