April 3, 1940 – December 30, 2022

Passed away peacefully in hospital on Friday, December 30th, 2022, at the age of 82.  Beloved wife of Gerrit (Gerry) Kop and previously deceased by her first husband Roelof (Rolly) Lubbers (1991).  Loving mother of Marianne Caron (Robert), Ron Lubbers (Liela Blaedow) and stepmother of Steven Kop (Doan Kieu), Julia Kop (Denis Lim Tung) and Cynthia Jenkins (the late Mike).  Cherished grandmother of Owen Caron and step-grandmother of Jade Lim Tung, Jasmine Lim Tung, Lucy Jenkins, Violet Jenkins and Thiên Ân Kop.  Sister of the late Ralph Euverman (Wilma), the late Ann Boer (the late Albert) and Fennie Van Veldhuisen (George).  Joan will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  A Memorial Service will be held at Calvin Christian Reformed Church at 1475 Merivale Road, Ottawa on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 2 p.m.  Reception to follow.  Family interment at Capital Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  For those wishing, donations in Joan’s Memory may be made to the Salvation Army or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
