Joanne Gail Wilson

After a two year courageous battle with cancer, Joanne Wilson (nee Verney) passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025 at the Ottawa hospital at the age of 57.

Joanne was the beloved wife of Mark Wilson and mother of Connor. She was the dear daughter of Nora Verney (nee McCuaig) and the late John Verney. She was predeceased by her sister Lisa Lajeunesse (nee Verney) (Steven). Loving aunt of nieces and nephews Paige, Dylan, Taylor, and Troy.

Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond road (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd.) on Saturday May 10, 2025. Visitation will commence at 10:00 AM to be followed by a service and reception at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre.
