Jeffrey Gordon Williams

Jeffrey Gordon Williams passed away in Ottawa, the city where he was born and where he spent his entire life. Jeff was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Ellen; his son, Skip (Tammy); his daughter, Jennifer (Shane); his cherished grandchildren, Clay and Austin; and grand doggy, Sammy. Jeff was predeceased by his father, Arthur; mother, Mavis Jean and brother, Donald.

Jeff held degrees in mathematics and physics, and earned a PhD in systems engineering. He was the founder and president of Binomial International, a disaster recovery and business continuity, software and consulting company, where his intellect, innovation, and steady leadership left a lasting mark.

He gave generously of his time and energy, volunteering and leading many youth organizations in Rideau Township over the years, and also served his community as a volunteer firefighter.

Jeffrey had a lifelong interest in automobiles, airplanes, boats, and motorcycles, with a particular appreciation for their engineering and design.

He will be remembered by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
