Peacefully at the Perley Veterans Health Centre on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Wright. Survived by her stepchildren Murray Wright and Meridith Wright (Anna) and step-grandchildren Erik and Ella Wright; nieces and nephews, Sandra, Susan, Stephen, Richard, Christine, David, Paula and Kevin. Predeceased by her parents, George and Alice Tait; brother Charles (Louise) Tait; sisters Isobel Moore (late Bill) and Katherine Tait.
Outside of enjoying family and friends, Jean was most proud of being a Registered Nurse. She worked for many years caring for children with the Easter Seal Society. Jean loved to travel, and she and Lloyd travelled the world, but their home and church meant everything to them.
Memorial service will be held at City View United Church, 6 Epworth Ave., Ottawa on Friday, April 26th at 1 pm.
