Jean Cecilia Graham

With broken hearts, the family announces that Jean Cecilia Graham (née Griffiths) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the age of 79.

Jean was a devoted wife, cherished mother, proud grandmother, and a gentle, steady presence whose kindness touched everyone who knew her. She was deeply committed to her family and friends, and her life was defined by loyalty, warmth, and connection.

Born in Montreal, Quebec, Jean spent her childhood and much of her life in Stittsville, Ontario, where she developed a deep appreciation for community, family, and the simple joys of everyday life. In retirement, she made her home in Arnprior, embracing a quieter pace while remaining closely connected to the people and traditions she treasured.

Jean was the beloved wife of Barry Graham, with whom she shared more than 60 years of partnership, laughter, and unwavering devotion. She was a loving mother to Kelly Graham (Murray Young) and Stacey Box (Rick), and a proud Nana to Jacob Box and Lindsey Box, who brought her endless joy.

Jean was the daughter of Roger Griffiths and Margaret Griffiths (née Briscoe), and was lovingly raised by her mother Bee Griffiths, who shaped her spirit and enduring strength.

She will be fondly remembered by her siblings: Ian Griffiths (Judy), the late Anne Martindale, Lynn Griffiths, and Heather Kristjansson. Jean was also a treasured sister‑in‑law to Joanne Clingin, with whom she shared many years of family connection and warmth.

Jean held a special place in her heart for her many nieces, nephews, and great‑nieces and great‑nephews, each of whom she cherished deeply. Her devotion to family extended across generations, and she was a constant source of support, pride, and affection.

Throughout her life, Jean enjoyed years of playing ball, many rounds of golf, and countless hours spent with friends and family. Her easy laugh, warm smile, and thoughtful nature made her a friend to many, and her presence brightened every room she entered.

Her legacy is one of love, loyalty, and gentleness — a life lived with heart.

Jean’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to Tubman Funeral Homes. The immediate family will hold a private ceremony, with a Celebration of Life to follow.
