Janet Mitchell

It is with great sadness we share the unexpected death of Janet Mitchell (nee Whitehead) on December 9, 2022, at home.  Beloved wife of Thomas Mitchell (deceased 2009).  Much loved mother of Karen (Lucio), Wayne (Sharron) and Merridy.  Loving grandmother of Tatiana, Dominique, Alex, Lilia, Brittany and Blair and adoring great grandmother of Sophia, Hugo, Luca, Hayden and Isla.  Survived by her sister Diane, predeceased by her brother, Arthur.  Jan will be greatly missed by her many friends, especially her lifelong Crystal Beach friends.  A celebration of life will be held at a date in the Spring to be announced.  Donations in memory of Jan would be appreciated and can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Harmony House Ottawa.  Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 10 a.m. followed by service at 11 a.m. at Bells Corners United Church, 3955 Old Richmond Road, Nepean.  Interment will be held at Capital Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
