Peacefully, on October 4, Jim rejoined his beloved Nancy who had pre-deceased him. Jim was a teacher for over 35 years, an avid philatelist, an enthusiastic traveler, and devoted husband and father. He will be missed by his children Diana Laing (Al) and Jeff Waal (Melanie) and his four grandchildren: Grace, Avalon, Matthew, and Evan.

A memorial service will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Home, 3440 Richmond Rd. Nepean (between Bayshore & Baseline Rd.) on Friday, October 14th at 2 pm.
