Jacqueline (Jackie) Gerrard

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jackie Gerrard (nee Dominic) on October 31st in her 90th year. Beloved wife to her late husband Bernie, lovingly remembered by her children Scott (Sue), Tracy (Brian) and grandchildren Chelsey (Connor), Melanie (Blair), Allison, Erin (James) and her great grandchild Finn.

Jackie grew up in England and later moved to Canada in 1957 to start a new exciting life abroad. She loved life, music, dancing, art, nature, gardening and being with friends and family. She was always happy to share her experiences and the stories of everyone’s adventures. Thank you to Dr. Chapman and to everyone at Red Oaks Retirement Residence as well as the wonderful people at Saint Elizabeth Health for all their love and care.

Friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday November 12th from 6-8 pm at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean. A funeral service will be held Thursday November 13th at 11 am. Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Jackie Gerrard to a women’s charity of your choice or to the National Youth and Education Trust NAC Foundation.
