Ian Mungo Wood

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ian Wood, aged 87. He died peacefully on April 6th, 2026, surrounded by his family. 

Ian will be fondly remembered for his friendly disposition, a sweet and gentle heart, and an unforgettable sense of humour. 

Beloved husband to Margaret Anne (Lancaster). Loving father to Kirsty (Harvey) and Allison (Alexxi), cherished Grandfather to Olivia, Liam and Griffin. He will always remain in our thoughts and hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Tubman Funeral Home Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Road, on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Please join the family for Words of Remembrance at 1:30pm.
