Blue - Ian Dougall

May 18, 1947 - December 5, 2022

Peacefully at The Ruddy Shenkman Hospice on Monday, December 5, 2022. Loving husband of Carolyn (née Turner) for 49 years. Born in Montreal, QC on May 18,1947, he was the son of the late Jack & Lavina Blue. Brother of Diane Kingston (late Peter). Proud father of Erin Blue Hibbins (Scott), & Meagan Blue (Mike Poll); and wonderful grandpa to Devin Blue (Heather MacKenzie), Rosamund Nell, Sullivan and Angus Hibbins.  Ian's first great grandchild is soon to be born to parents Devin and Heather. Uncle of Danny and Jason Turner; Ean and Tom Kingston.

Ian was lovingly known as "Doogie". He was a good guy, a listener, caring and an animal lover, Bella (dog) is missing him daily.

Special thanks to the nurses who gave us great care and conversation while Ian was at home; to Drs. Ing, Lal & Spacek for their calming presence; and the staff and volunteers at The Ruddy Shankman Hospice.  Also thanks to his daughters and grandson for their help and care for Ian during his last weeks at home.

There will be no service. Ian will be cremated, and family will get together to spread his ashes at a later time.
