Sauvé, Hildegarde “Hildi"

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hildegarde “Hildi" Sauvé on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children.

Hildi was born in Pictou, Nova Scotia, on October 21, 1949.Beloved daughter of the late Chester and Lois Lambertson. Loving mother of Jean-Paul, Anna (Pavel Kazanov), Nicole, and Adam (Shawna Reddie). Proud grandmother of Aiden, Sammy Joe, and Aurora. Dear sister of Ross Lambertson and Jenny Huie.

Hildi will be remembered for her unwavering devotion and love for her family and friends, who will miss her deeply.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Extendicare Medex for their compassionate care throughout Hildi’s final years.

A Celebration of Hildi’s Life will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd. (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd.), Nepean, on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A moment of reflection will take place at 3:00 p.m.
