Sawatzky, Dr. Henry (Former employee of NRCAN)

Peacefully at the Waterford Retirement home in Ottawa on Tuesday February 7, 2023, in his 95th year. Much loved husband of the late Anita Lenore. Loving father of the late Lisa Sawatzky. He leaves behind to mourn his adopted son, John Tinholt (Chantal). Dear grandfather of Angela Holladay (Monty), Joshua Tinholt (Meagan) and proud Opa of Landon. Dear brother of Elizabeth (Vern) Predeceased by his siblings Peter (Edna), Helene (Jacob), John (Alvena) and Katharina (Roy). Also loved and survived by many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Waterford for their loving care of Henry.  A private family service will occur at a later date.
