Hendrika 'Rita' Maaike Sturrus (neé Van Ryswyk)
February 7, 1935 — December 18, 2024
Rita passed away peacefully on December 18th with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Willem (Bill) Sturrus. Loving mother to Peter (Sheila), Ria, and Kathy (Ron), Oma to 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at The Ottawa Hospital (Civic Campus) for their compassionate and attentive care during her time in the hospital. As per her request, no funeral service will take place.
