Helen Louise Robert

It is with great sorrow the family announces the death of Helen Louise Robert (nee Rogers). Helen was born July 6, 1965 and passed away October 6, 2025 after a short but fierce battle with cancer at the age of 60. Helen was a loving wife to Mike Robert, the most incredible mom to Alyssa Robert (Sara Losey) and Nana to Oliver Robert-Losey, caring sister to John Rogers and devoted daughter to Rowena "Sally" & William "Bill" Rogers both predeceased. Helen will be deeply missed by Mike's sisters' many nieces and nephews as well as extended family abroad all of whom loved Helen dearly.

Helen's love knew no bounds - love for her family, love for her friends and love for complete strangers. She made this world a better place with incredible compassion, grace, and passion.

Whether planning a new exciting trip with Mike, spending time on the boat with Alyssa, Sara and Oliver, having a blast with John in Newfoundland or spending quality time with her side of the family or Mike's, she did it passionately and with great love. Helen always remembered the little and big things important to those she loved; she never forgot birthdays, special moments in someone's life or to simply check in with a loved one after a concerning medical test. Somehow sharing our joy with her, doubled it and sharing our sadness and fears halved it. By our side, she was there for it all. She was that rock to all, prioritizing, taking care of vulnerable and sick family members tirelessly, including her parents, Mike's mom, Mike's sister Nikki to name a few. Always selfless, always kind and always loving.

Helen's celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 16 at 10 AM at Tubman's funeral home (Garden Chapel) 3440 Richmond Rd., Ottawa, Ontario K2H 8H7.

In accordance with Helen's final wishes, donations in lieu of flowers can be made to HeartLife.ca (Voices for HeartLife - Helen Robert Memorial Fund). All gifts, big and small can make a difference in the lives of those Helen was passionate about helping.
