Helen Iris Mills (née Dawson)

It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to our dear mother who passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday, June 16th, 2026 at Crossing Bridge Care Home. Having celebrated her 101st birthday in May.

Helen was predeceased by her husband John Mills and her parents Herman & Gertrude Dawson. She is survived by her loving family - Gary, Cathy Green (Barry) and Terry (late Nancy); cherished grandmother "Hessie" to Rodney (Angel), Andrew, Paul (Nikole) and Barry Jr (deceased), and her 10 great grandchildren. Loving sister to Betty Birtch and predeceased by her siblings Norma, John and Joan.

We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the 3rd Floor at Crossing Bridge for their wonderful care and support.

A visitation will take place at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, 67 Fowler St.  Richmond, ON. on Tuesday, June 23rd from 10 am until the time of the service at 11:30 am. Inurnment for immediate family after service in St. John’s Cemetery. A reception for all in the church hall following the service.
