Harry Rosewarne

The family of Harry (Henry Pearce) Rosewarne is saddened to announce his passing on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, in his 90th year. Beloved husband for 59 years of the late Esther (Fitzpatrick) Rosewarne, beloved father of Laurie (Pierre-Paul Provencher) and Bruce (Kristen Scissons), dedicated father-in-law to Sharon, loving grandfather to Julia (Micheal Killeen) and Eric. Harry was a fanatical skier, a passionate pilot, a windsurfer, an aeronautical engineer and a lover of music. He lived life to the fullest. He will be missed by his sisters-in-law, his brothers-in-law, his nieces and nephews and his many friends at Camp Fortune and at First Baptist Church. Family will receive friends at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd. (between Baseline Rd. and Bayshore Dr.), Nepean on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 2:30 p.m. followed by a reception. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens on Tuesday at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcome in Harry's name to: the Canadian Cancer Society, First Baptist Church, or the Heart of the City Piano Program.
