Harold MacDonald passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026, in his 90th year, surrounded by the love of his family. Harold was the loving and devoted husband of Pat (née Smith), with whom he shared a lifetime of love, family, and treasured memories. Cherished father of Trisha Galipeau (late Marc), Lynn MacDonald, Rod Saunderson (Gretchen), and Joey MacDonald. A fun-loving and much-adored grandfather, Harold took great joy in his grandchildren: R.J., Derek, Tate, Sophie, Daniel, Nicholas, Joshua, Vincent, and Lily. His warmth, humour, and love for his family will remain a special part of their lives and memories.
Harold was a dear brother to Billy (late Donna), Walter (Marlene), and Claire Young (Terry). He was predeceased by his siblings Pat, Ronnie, and Joe, and will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.
Harold will be remembered for the joy he brought to those around him, his fun-loving spirit, and, above all, his devotion to his family. His long life leaves behind many wonderful memories, stories, and moments that will continue to be shared by those who knew and loved him.
A life well lived, a family well loved, and memories that will be treasured always.
