Grant Douglas Edwards
August 10, 1932 — June 15, 2026
Grant Edwards was born in West Brome, Quebec and passed away peacefully in Ottawa at the age of 93 leaving behind a legacy of generosity and devotion to his family and friends.
Grant built a life grounded in hard work and dedication, retiring after 39 years working with Bell Canada.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Luella (May) Edwards (née MacDonald), his parents Frederick and Hildred Edwards (née Rhicard) and his brother Robert and sister-in-law Joan.
He is lovingly remembered as a devoted father of David and Mark (Janette); cherished grandfather to Emily.
He will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephew, close friends and neighbours and life-long friend Fred Park (Gaeta).
Memorial contributions may be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Ottawa Food Bank.
