Gloria Jean Stolze

Peacefully on June 17, 2025. Gloria leaves behind her daughter Nancy (Kevin Fletcher) and her grandchildren William (Clara Lockhart), Caleb and Sean. Gloria was predeceased by her husband Otmar Stolze and brother Mike Furness. Daughter of the late Reginald and Freda Furness (Rice).

Raised in Cardinal, Gloria graduated from the Brockville General Hospital School of Nursing in 1961. From there she went on to live in Gander, Toronto, Edmonton, Ottawa, Berlin, Germany, and settled in Oxford Mills for her retirement years. Gloria loved her country home and living a natural lifestyle. She tended to her garden of organic vegetables and was an excellent cook and baker.

Special thanks to her family doctor, Dr Luong, and to the staff at the Stillwater Creek Retirement Home who provided care during her last three months.
