Gloria Jane Evans

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gloria Evans on August 21, 2025. She passed away at home in her favourite chair.

She is survived by her brother Donald Evans (Julie Griffith), many nieces and nephews including Anna Malham, Tracy Malham (Dan), Gwen Plante, Laurel Hay, Cam Hay (Star), Heather Hay and Douglas Evans (Bryn). She will be laid to rest in Hamilton next to mom and dad, as was her wish.

She will be greatly missed as a sister, a good friend, a loving aunt, a valued colleague, a world traveller, an amazing quilter, a keen collector, a crossword master, a dog and cat lover and so much more. We hold many precious memories of her; her laughter, her wit, her ability to solve almost any problem. She was a good friend to many and supported many charities… so feel free to make a donation to a charity of your choice and remember her generosity and compassion.
