On Monday, March 6, 2017, it is with sadness that we announce the death of Gerardina Margaretha (Dietje) Hoefsmit-de Lint, MEd, retired teacher at PWHS. She was predeceased by her husband Charles, her parents, and her brother. She is survived by her children Kamé (Lamont), Charles (Mary Anne), and Karin, her grandchildren, and her sister, Johanna (Wim). Family and friends are invited to attend a light luncheon at Kitchissippi United Church, 630 Island Park Drive, Ottawa on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 11:15 a.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA or to Girl Guides of Canada would be appreciated.
