Evelyn (Toll) Robertson (née Grubb)

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Evelyn Robertson on 25 September 2025 at the age of 95 in St. Thomas, ON.

Evelyn was born in Edwards, ON and lived a long and full life marked by love, resilience and devotion to her family. She was the cherished daughter of the late John Edward Grubb and the late Violet Evelyn (Greenway).

She was twice blessed in love, first with her marriage to Arnold Toll in 1948 with whom she shared many cherished years raising seven sons and one daughter before his passing and later with her marriage to Ernest ‘Robie’ Robertson, who also predeceased her.

Her greatest joy was her family. She was the dear mother of Jim (Brenda) of Griffith, Janet Alexander (Earl) of Mt Brydges and Doug (Darlene) of Spencerville. She was sadly predeceased by five of her sons, Eric, Bruce (late Donna), Larry (Beth), Ralph (Theresa), Ron (Penny), and her daughter-in-law, Sandra. She was the treasured

Granny of 23 grandchildren, very special GG to 51 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and special auntie to many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Ted (Gwen), George (late Mary Ellen), Frank (Lois) and Leslie.

A graveside service will be held on 17 October 2025 at 11 am at the All Saints Anglican Cemetery, 7103 Parkway Road, Greely, ON.
