Eloise Schaan

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eloise Schaan on Tuesday, August 25, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of Lloyd (deceased). Loving mother of Barb and Suzanne (Dominic). Devoted grandmother of Alex (Kareina) and Lauren (Garrett), and great-grandmother of Amara. Sister of Ruth Germeroth and Connie Davis (deceased).

Eloise was recognized for her leadership and service to the church, both as the first president of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League–Canada and as an organist and choir director.

Friends may pay their respects at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean, on Tuesday, September 1, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Christ Risen Lutheran Church, 85 Leacock Drive, Kanata, on Wednesday, September 2, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ Risen Church or the charity of your choice.
