Eleanor Paul

Peacefully after a courageous battle, at Hospice Care – Embassy West, on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Gerry Robillard. Proud and loving mother to Anita Robertson (Joe), Sonya Rodger, and Leisa Daly (Kevin). Adoring grandmother to Taylor, Clark, Laura, Christine, Wesley, Samantha, Will, Tom, Erin and Ali and great grandmother to Max and Liam. Dear step-mom to Paul Robillard (Joanne), the late Joanne Skoff (Dave) and the late Diane Anson (Ken). Eleanor was the daughter of the late Everett and Ethel Paul, and is survived by sisters Lois Garland, Colleen Welch, Lynn Goth (Doug) and Betty Brown (Sean), and sister-in-law Iris Paul. Predeceased by sister Dorothy Fee, brother Keith Paul and brothers-in-law Bud Welch, Butler Garland and Alan Fee. Heartfelt thanks for the kind and caring staff at the Embassy West Hospice and to all those who provided medical care over the years. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Friday, September 13th from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Stittsville on Saturday, September 14th at 11:00 am, followed by reception, then burial at Huntley Presbyterian Cemetery (Carp Rd.).
